- It's 75 g of ground almond meal.
- It's 250 g of plain flour.
- Prepare 200 g of softened butter.
- You need 175 g of caster sugar.
- It's 1 of egg, beaten.

- Pre-heat oven to 200 degrees C, line baking trays with greaseproof paper or baking parchment.
- In a mixing bowl combine flour, ground almond meal, castor sugar,vanilla essence and softened butter.
- Add beaten egg and mix to form a sticky dough..
- If you have a piping bag and star nozzle you can pipe circles onto the baking paper/ tray. The mixture will spread so leave approx. 5cm between biscuits. Alternatively put small amounts of dough on to the baking paper/tray.
- Bake for approx. 6 -8 mins at 200 degrees C - they should still be pale but slightly golden on the edge..
- Cool on a wire rack.
